Fall 2024 book fair

September 9th- 13th, 2024


Monday- Thursday  7:10 am -3:30 pm (shopping from 7:10-8:00 am is for students WITH parents, just so we can help get our parents to work on time!)

Thursday- open late!! 5:30 pm - 7:15 pm (stop by and shop during open house!)

Friday 7:10 am- 12:30 pm Closes early!

 

Students will be able to shop during the school day with teacher approval, and parents can come with students before or after school, or during their lunchtime. Students will go home with a wish list with 2-3 books so families will know what their child would like in case you'd like to purchase something and cannot make it to the school. The book fair offers online shopping which also benefits the school, if that is more convenient for your family!







How to pay: 
1. Scholastic has an e-wallet program where you can put money on your child's account.  Whatever your child doesn't spend will be saved on their account until the spring book fair or you can spend it on Scholastic's website. If the amount is less than $1, it will be donated to All for books which allows books to be bought for the teacher's classrooms. (If you have a remaining balance from the previous book fair, you can transfer it to this fair- just check your email on instructions)

3. Check (made out to Dearing elementary school)
4. Credit cards are also accepted 

If you would like to email me and let me know what books your child would like, I would be glad to let you know the exact amount so you can send that amount in a check or cash.  (kimberley.mendez@pfisd.net)

We will also need volunteers to help set-up the book fair
on Thursday, September 5th, as a cashier or student helper during the week, and break down of the fair on Friday, September 13th. Thank you for supporting our Eagles! We hope to raise enough funds to have another author visit this school year!
